Co-pastor of Bukot Nan Jesus, Linda Hensene, September 2006 - Majuro, Marshall Islands

The children's Supernatural Curriculum is changing our approach to teaching children. They are now praying for the sick and in one case a "grandma" who was pronounced dead at the hospital, to everyone's surprise, began to breathe again after her grandchildren prayed for her. She is still living today (6 months later). Parents are coming to the Lord because of the change they see in their children. We are expecting this generation to walk in power and purity by the Spirit of the Lord.

Worship Leader, April 2006 - San Diego, CA

I wanted to thank you, Deborah. I am the woman who has just begun to lead worship again after ten years of being too disabled to play guitar. I had been asking God how to take people past praise and into real, intimate worship, which as you mention, are very different things. But I didn't know how to do it. I listened to your [Pursue Love] CD on teaching children to worship, where you talked about bringing in the presence of God as we offer praise and thanksgiving, and then allowing people to respond in worship as He reveals Himself.

This was exactly what I needed to understand. I am not a "formula" person, but it seemed Biblical, and as I have done this with our adult Bible study, the worship has just taken off! Everyone keeps telling me that my leading is anointed; even that angels join in, and I've been asked to lead a second group! It is not that I am any great musician, but that I'm learning how to allow people to respond to the presence of the Lord as He reveals Himself to them.
